Kombucha Wonder Drink
The “functional” beverage market has been growing exponentially while the soda pop market has stumbled. Are Americans becoming more functional? Maybe. Or maybe they’re just looking for decent-tasting alternatives to unhealthy, unsatisfying, sugar water. Some believe that Kombucha has been around since the Tsin Chinese Dynasty of 221 BC, others place its introduction somewhere around the late 19th century. But no one had ever commercialized or marketed Kombucha in the US before Kombucha Wonder Drink was born. Our first task was to develop an identity system that would extend to everything from the bottle shape and graphics, to stationery, marketing materials, retail merchandising, trade show kiosk, and website — all of which featured a design aesthetic that told the mysterious, ancient Kombucha story. Sales have grown by more than 200% every year since the introduction of Kombucha Wonder Drink, and distribution has quickly expanded to all regions of the country.
