Parisian life in a bottle
Growing up in a family spirits business, Rob Cooper set out on his own to create the world’s first artisanal elderflower liqueur. Since it was a cocktail ingredient, he focused first on key influencers: bartenders in the world’s best bars. He knew success would also require creating a compelling brand to generate excitement beyond the bar.
His creative brief to us was “the life of Paris in a bottle.” From the packaging and identity to every single piece of communication, the mélange curieux that is Paris was expressed with style, wit, and incredible attention to detail. Often humorous, sometimes daring, and always impeccably executed, the visual language complemented the versatile, delicious product.
Since its launch in 2007, St-Germain has been embraced by cocktail culture internationally. It’s not hyperbole to say it reinvigorated the liqueur category and helped give rise to the spritz phenomenon in America.
